Laser tattoo removal is a gradual process. All tattoos will require several treatment sessions to be removed. Clients will see the tattoos lighten as the course of treatment progresses. Most tattoos can be removed within two to four visits, though some may require more sessions. Treatments are spaced 7-8 weeks apart to allow the body to continue the fading and removal process. Degree and speed of fading relies on factors such as skin tone, size, color, and age of tattoo, depth of pigment and location on the body. Tattoos located on the extremities, such as ankles, usually take the longest to fade.
